Readers Journal-
I would say that I loved this book! It was full of action, love, and kept me not wanting to put the book down. I loved how the author added Jacob as the 2nd lover of Bella. I felt like she could of did a better job on the father in the books and made him more accepting. One of the biggest things that I didn’t like is that between watching the movie first and then reading the books is, the movies don’t follow the books. I think they would've sold a lot more copies of the book if the movies followed. Bella is totally different than me. Bella is very impulsive. She doesn’t really think about the outcomes before she does things. Bella’s dad just wanted to be there for her and wanted the best for her. But she didn’t understand that and kept pushing away, more like being a rebel and refusing to listen to her father. Charlie wants to protect her from things that can harm her. So when Edward leaves Bella Charlie doesn’t really feel comfortable letting him back in after Bella’s months and months of insanity. One of my favorite scene in the book is when Edward takes Bella to the meadow. Where all the flowers are, Edward's skin perfectly shining in the light. Another one of my favorite scene is where Edward takes bella to the baseball field and the Cullens play baseball. This is a very deep scene for me because it reminds me of what a family is and how a family are supposed to act towards one another. The fact that the Cullens protect Bella from the visitors even though she is a human blows my mind. It warms my heart to read about love stories and how they are horrible at first and then lives happily ever after.
